Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is used to fill gap between missing teeth. The teeth on either side of the space are prepared for crowns and a false crown is attached between them. The types of bridges are just like the type of crowns, all metal, all porcelain, or porcelain on metals.

At our Lorain dental office, we first remove any decay from your teeth and prepare your teeth to receive the bridge. We take impression of your teeth to make a model of your teeth. This ensures that your bridge and crown will fit precisely in your mouth.

Placing a bridge takes two office visits. In the first visit, we place a temporary bridge in your mouth while we get your permanent bridge and crown fabricated. During the second visit, we remove the temporary bridge and fit your new bridge and crown in your mouth using a cement. This restores your teeth and your natural smile.

We are conveniently located in off of I-90 in Lorain. We are very close to Amherst, Vermilion, Avon, Avon Lake, Oberlin, Wellington, and Sheffield Village.
